Firearm Safety | Ages 11+

Youth ages 11 and older can attend a HYBRID firearm safety certification course and receive their certificate. The Firearm Safety Certificate becomes valid at age 12. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be permitted to hunt small game and are eligible to purchase a big game license. This course is sponsored by area Sportsman’s Clubs and Holdingford Community Education.
Participants will complete their hunter safety course online before Saturday, April 26 and they need to bring the certificate of completion for the online portion with them to class. Saturday, April 26 will be a classroom review day bridging the gap from online learning to hands on learning. (12pm-4pm, Holdingford Elementary Cafeteria, enter door E1 by the baseball fields) Sunday, April 27 will be the field day portion. More information to come on time and location. Please indicate birth date on registration form.
